It was 1987 and our Guidance (cathecism) class was in charge of the Christmas pageant. We had to write a play. We had to manage the Christmas programme. We wrote our own version of
A Christmas Carol. And when Tiny Tim sang for his family, after saying 'God Bless Us, Everyone!' was this. So it holds special memories.
And these words:
Even the man who has everything
Would be so happy if you could bring
Why don't you give love on Christmas Day..seemed particularly apposite, when it came to Scrooge, who had everything. And nothing.
