Irrational Exuberance

“The love of life is not something rational, or founded on experience of life. It is something antecedent and spontaneous.”

  1. I wholeheartedly concur! And on that note: the housing deal went through, I'll be closing in a few days and then I'll be moving across town, hauling several hundred of pounds of obscure books and computer miscellany. So, I'll be sure to read every other day or so and comment when I can, but I may be a bit short on time and energy once August arrives! After that, everything should be back to normal. :-)

    Take care,
    M.

  2. Oh congratulations! I'm so happy for you. And I'll be here, on the edge of my seat, waiting till you get back. I miss your comments when you're not hovering in cyberspace.

Hope you get lots of help hauling the obscure books and computer miscellany. :-)

  3. Thank you, dear! I'm excited. Two friends have already offered to help move all of the heavy stuff (voluntarily, mind you) and I will end up shuttling the smaller items in my vehicle. What a monumental undertaking, moving is--you are never forced to account for all of your lifetime accumulations of stuff (and the associated memories) until your are faced with the prospect of handily moving all of it from one location to another. Letting go is hard. =)

  4. I have accumulated lots of stuff but I go through these periodic bouts of getting rid of stuff...so I guess moving would be easier for me...but still hard.
